Body Sculpt for Summer

Summer often brings a sense of impending doom; but exposed skin doesn’t have to feel scary. Here’s a roundup of my favourite body-toning must-haves in the lead up to bikini season.

If you are after some ideas on how best to tone your body then I have rounded up some of my favourite must-haves for you in the lead up to Bikini Season. Why not give them a go and let me know what you think…

FITBIT

If there’s one piece of fitness technology you need, this is it. A Fitbit is a wearable device that helps track your daily steps, distance and calories burned – and at night it even measures your sleep quality. A constant reminder of your energy output, it provides real motivation to walk more and work harder physically. I love this style – a collaboration between Tory Birch and Fitbit – which is chic enough to wear with just about anything.

Aerial Yoga

Adding suspended hammocks to your yoga routine makes it anything but easy – but it does make it fun! With all the body-toning benefits of a traditional session, Aerial Yoga actually requires real concentration to get the postures right, but with the added benefit of allowing your joints to decompress in the process. It’s an effective – and novel – way to get fit quick.

Sculptress

There’s a common misconception about protein powders bulking you up and adding too much muscle. A good all-rounder – like Maximuscle Sculptress – will replenish your body’s nutrients and minerals, keep your muscle lean, and even help you lose weight. A great addition to your daily workout.

Reebok

I love an acid bright to pep up my workout look, and this ‘Ventilator’ style from Reebok fits the bill nicely. Perfect for a long run, they’re super-comfy, and it feels like the intense neon-pop helps you go faster!
