Get The Look: Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham is always one of my favourite people to work with. She knows exactly what she wants, and she always brings plenty of ideas to the table. And she’s also one of the people I get asked about her look about the most! So, I thought I’d share exactly how to create a classic VB red carpet look…

At the People’s Choice Awards in Santa Monica last year, Victoria Beckham picked up the (very well-deserved) Fashion Icon Award, and she looked the part to collect the gong, wearing a white suit that she custom-made for herself. The perks of being a fashion designer! To do justice to her gorgeous outfit we created a sophisticated but glamorous makeup look that was all about flawless skin and gorgeous lashes. I always get a lot of requests to break-down the products that I use to do Victoria’s looks, so, just for you, here is the run down from her red carpet beauty look.

FACE

Foundation

For a sophisticated, creamy skin finish I used Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation in Nude/Chamomile [Ad: Affiliate link]

Concealer

A long-time favourite in my makeup kit, I touched up the skin with Burberry Cashmere Concealer in Shade 4.

Contour

I can’t tell you exactly what I used, except that it’s something exciting I have in development with Max Factor, so stay tuned!

Blush

The Bobbi Brown Blush in Tawny [Ad: Affiliate link] was the perfect cheek colour for adding some warmth to Victoria’s look.

Powder

To make sure Victoria was stage-ready we finished the look with Hourglass’ Veil Translucent Setting Powder [Ad: Affiliate link] and Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Illuminating Powder in Nude [Ad: Affiliate link] for a natural-looking glow.

EYES

Mascara

This look was all about voluminous lashes, which looks great on Victoria. For mascara I used the Max Factor 2000 Calorie Waterproof Mascara in Black, which gives a really statement finish.

Eyeshadow

For a subtle bronze smoke I used Jillian Dempsey’s creamy Lid Tint in Bronze and finished with RMS Beauty’s Eye Polish in Magnetic [Ad: Affiliate link] for more depth.

Eyeliner

I combined Pat McGrath Labs Permagel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Blitz Brown with the Pat McGrath Labs Black SmudgeLiner Eye Kohl for a subtle hint of smoke. I also added Max Factor Kohl Pencil in Natural Glaze to the waterline.

LIPS

Lip Liner

It had to be the Victoria Beckham X Estée Lauder lip liner. And the shade? Victoria, of course.

Lipstick

To finish the lips I used Burberry Lip Velvet Crush in Copper Pink and then added Max Factor Colour Elixir matte in Nude in the centre of lips.

Gorgeous, right?
