Drink Some Water

Did I say ‘drink plenty of water’ doesn’t cut it? It might not be enough, but it’s a good start. Staying hydrated is essential to get your spring glow started.

Exfoliate

Exfoliating is vital for glowing skin. Use a gentle exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and reveal the fresh, glowing skin underneath. This will help your skincare products penetrate more deeply and work more effectively to see you starting off the new season as you mean to go on.

Moisturise

You’ve hydrated with plenty of water, but you need to hydrate your skin, too. Invest in a good moisturiser to keep your skin soft and smooth. Look out for ingredients like hyaluronic acid or glycerin for locking moisture in.

Protect

To protect your glowing skin, ensure you use a barrier protection product and as the days get longer and the sun gets stronger, don’t forget to protect your skin from UV rays, too. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day.

Eat Beautiful

Of course, gorgeous glowing skin starts from the inside. Load up on fruits and vegetables that are high in antioxidants, which can help protect your skin from damage and keep it looking and feeling healthy. Check out my book Eat Beautiful for the best skin-friendly foods to add to your diet in spring.

Supplement

Add a skin-friendly supplement to your regime, such as biotin or collagen. A daily probiotic supplement can also help improve gut health, which can help with your skin condition.

Hit Snooze

A good night’s sleep is essential for healthy, glowing skin. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night.
