Valentine’s Day: Treatments to Fall in Love With

Valentine’s Day can be a bit of a cliché with red roses, heart shaped chocolate boxes and reservations for over-priced dinners. So, pass on the presents this year and book in some beauty treatments and indulgent experiences, whether you’re coupled up or celebrating single life with friends.

Valentine’s Day is all about feeling the love, and what better way to get loved up than with some indulgent beauty treatments or couples’ experiences? Whether it’s a romantic massage for two, a fragrance-combining day, at-home pampering session or day trip with a side-helping of spa time, taking time out together is going to do more for your relationship than a box of chocolates! And the good news is that all of these are great for singles and friends, too, so nobody has to miss out.

5 Valentine’s Treatments & Experiences for 2019

Tom Ford Pamper Session

Book into Tom Ford’s Covent Garden beauty and grooming parlour for some serious pampering. The grooming menu for boys includes a beard trim, an express facial, a wet shave or a luxury shave and facial, and for the girls there is a makeup masterclass, makeover or face architecture class, plus private blend fragrance consultations you can enjoy together. A cocktail or a bite to eat somewhere around the market will surely be on the agenda afterwards, too…

Skin Session

Treat yourself and your other half to some skin treats this Valentine’s Day and spend an evening giving your complexions some TLC. I love Susanne Kaufmann’s collections for men and women, and you’ll find both in my kit.

London Staycation

Live in London and want to getaway without actually getting away? The Landmark London is offering a ‘Love at The Landmark’ overnight package with complimentary Champagne, spa gift set, including luxurious creams from one of Europe’s leading skin care houses, Germaine de Capuccini, and a romantic turndown setup complete with rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries. To round-off the stay, if you fancy some Valentine’s treatments you can enjoy expert pampering in the spa by booking an optional Candlelight Mediterranean Massage.

Prices start at £349 based on two people sharing and is available from the 9th to the 18th of February 2019.

Day Spa Decadence

There’s nothing quite as indulgent as taking a whole day out to lounge by a pool in your own city. It’s something I almost never get the time or opportunity to do, but it’s a great idea to treat a loved one to for Valentine’s Day. There are plenty of amazing options in London and New York, one of the best is the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, thanks to its gorgeous double lounging beds alongside London’s longest swimming pool. The beds are accompanied by table bells to call food and drinks directly to you for the ultimate relaxation.

The Perfect Bath

If you can’t find the time or money for a spa day or minibreak, transform your bathroom into a mini spa and run the perfect bath for two. You can read my guide to the perfect bath for tips on making the experience as relaxing as possible, but dial up the romance by choosing the perfect scented candle [Ad: Affiliate Link] and popping a bottle of bubbly.
