I’m always telling you guys in my posts how much fun I have on-set working with industry friends and people I admire. But this week you can see just how much fun (and hard work) my job really is. One of my most recent shoots was for the Sunday Times Style magazine (hopefully you picked up a copy this weekend!) working with photographer Marcus Ohlsson on the creative direction and with Beauty Editor Sarah Jossel. The shoot had a water thread running through it, and we worked with a whole range of trends, tricks and techniques, from shine and sparkle to shooting through glass for really interesting results.

I came up with the concept and the brief for the shoot and worked with Marcus Ohlsson on the creative direction, which was great as I’m often fulfilling other people’s briefs; I love having more creative control over a project like this.
