Charcoal has long been used in health and beauty for it's natural purifying and detoxifying properties. Here's my edit of the products worth trying...

Charcoal is a natural absorbent, acting like a magnet and attaching itself to dirt and toxins, before passing them out of the skin and body in water form.

What is activated charcoal?

Activated charcoal is just a charcoal that has been heated in order to adapt its natural structure and make it further able to boost absorption.

I always love natural products, especially those that have been used for years to treat skin and boost wellness. Charcoal is an amazing multi-tasker, used on skin, hair, teeth, in water and to eliminate toxins from the body.

My Favourite Activated Charcoal Products…

Activated charcoal bread has become a popular addition to brunch menus in recent years, with avocado on charcoal toast being the go-to hangover cure of the moment. A good choice, thanks to those detoxifying properties of the bread and the potassium, vitamin B6 and healthy fats in the avocado.
