It was chosen by the likes of Dua Lipa and H.E.R at this year’s Grammy Awards, but purple eyeshadow is not just to be reserved for the red carpet. It’s actually a really flattering shade on pretty much every skin tone; lighter skin tones should opt for pale lilac and pinky purples while darker skin tones will look great with pretty much all purple tones. Bold, shimmering or holographic colours are great for the evening, but soft purple eyeshadow works for creating a modern take on a smoky eye.
