Healthy Party Drinks For The Festive Season

Healthier Alcoholic Drink Options

Not ready to give alcohol a miss completely this party season? When it comes to alcoholic beverages, opting for low-sugar drinks with natural, skin-friendly ingredients can make a difference. The best approach to healthy partying involves moderation and mindful choices. Here are some healthy alcoholic drink options to consider.

Red wine

Red wine contains antioxidants, such as resveratrol, which may have anti-ageing effects on the skin. Of course, it’s important to consume red wine in moderation to reap its potential benefits. Consider ditching mulled wine, which can be packed with sugar, for a glass or two of your favourite red instead.

Vodka with soda or fresh juice

Mixing vodka with freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable juice can provide a refreshing and relatively healthy cocktail option. Fresh juices are rich in vitamins and minerals, contributing to overall well being, and good for your skin, too. Freshly squeezed orange juice is good for skin thanks to its high vitamin C content, but remember that it’s quite high in sugar, so limit your intake. A bloody mary is another great option, packed with vege and much healthier than a sweet, sugary cocktail.

Champagne

If you want something light and sparkling this party season, opt for a glass or two of champagne. It’s one of the lower-sugar options out there, as well as being one of the most delicious! Just remember to drink plenty of water, too, to look after your skin.

Non-Alcoholic Part Drink Options

Party season doesn’t have to mean hangovers! If you’re giving alcohol the swerve this party season but still want a treat while you’re out and about, give one of these party-perfect drinks a try.

Sparkling water infusions

Make a muddled punch by mixing sparkling water with your favourite skin-boosting fruit or veg. Opt for cucumber and mint for an electrolyte boost, or try fresh berries for something fruity.

CBD drinks

Gaining popularity as an alcohol alternative, CBD drinks are great for parties, thanks to their relaxing properties and great taste. Trip Drinks are popular with the fashion crowd that are giving alcohol a miss.
