When you work with clients a number of times, you get to know exactly what works for them, and how to make them look and feel at their best. Sienna Miller always looks gorgeous, no matter what look we go for, but my personal preference are for pared-back, less-is-more makeup, because she’s naturally stunning. The look we created for the Met Ball 2024 was all about letting her natural beauty shine through, so we went for super-minimal makeup.

As the master of nudes, I love a skin-focused makeup look, especially for the red carpet, where a more natural radiance is unexpected. First off, it’s really important to prep the skin before doing makeup because we need the makeup to last all night. A super-clean complexion is needed to hold the makeup, and when you’ve come straight off a flight, you need skin to be hydrated for the makeup to look flawless. The result? Sienna Miller’s Met Gala makeup for 2024 was understated, modern, ethereal and clean.
