Gorgeous skin makes for a gorgeous look, so if you’re being faced with the challenge of super dry skin, it’s that much harder to get the perfect finish. You already know all about my inside-out approach to great skin, so you should start off by drinking plenty of water and eating a diet packed with fresh, seasonal foods to give your skin the best chance possible of a gorgeous natural glow. (Read my book Eat Beautiful for plenty of recipe ideas to try at home.) If you have dry skin you’ll also want a skincare regime that is packed with hydration heroes. Once you’ve nailed your diet and skincare regime, all that’s left is finding the best makeup for dry skin. The good news is there are plenty of options that not only offer great coverage but are also packed with hydrating ingredients to prevent flaking and further drying. You might want to consider carrying a refreshing water spray or beauty mist to give your skin a moisture boost throughout the day, too. Check out my edit of the best makeup for dry skin below…

MAKEUP FOR DRY SKIN: MY PICKS
Foundations for Dry Skin
Pick a foundation or skin colour that is a moisturising foundation-skincare hybrid, such as a tinted moisturiser or a serum. Cream and oil-based foundations are great, just avoid heavier oily foundations if you suffer from blemishes and breakouts.
Blusher & Bronzer For Dry Skin
Opt for cream colours rather than powders to hydrate skin rather than to sit on top of dry or flaky skin.
