Cool sport gear

By now you know I love a cool sporting accessory, and I’m currently a little obsessed with my new Newton Running trainers. I usually get really tight calves from wearing high heels, however these trainers cushion the ball of your foot to help you balance through your core (normal trainers cushion your heel). They’ve made such a difference and my calves are now pain-free - definitely a high heel-lovers savoir! I also have my eye on the latest sports gadget, the Nike+ FuelBand. Tracking your physical activity in style, it looks chic and doubles as a watch. The interactive app allows you to compete against friends too…

Net-a-Porter is set to keep the fashion elite looking beautiful, as they expand into beauty products this February. With a handpicked edit of luxury brands, one to get excited about is MitoQ – a new anti-ageing hero that is scientifically proven to be 1000 times more potent than other CoQ antioxidant formulas, accelerating skin rejuvenation. Want to be one of the first to trial the new brand? Like MitoQ on Facebook to receive a free full-sized product (valued at £115) and be on the exclusive free trial panel before it launches.

Ill Manors

I can’t stop thinking about this movie Ill Manors. Written and directed by rapper Plan B, it delves into crime on the London streets and although it’s quite extreme, it still captures a realistic portrayal of how things can spiral out of control when kids try to fit in. It’s a must-see for anyone who grew up in London. It made me realise how much I love Plan B’s music too!

Hail-O App

Gone are the days of standing on the road hailing cabs with the HailO app, which lets you set up an account and order black cabs in an instant. Quick and simple, it’s the perfect way to get around – you don’t have to worry about having cash and your account tracks you, so ideal if you are prone to leaving things in the back of a cab. Already in London and NY, fingers crossed it gets to Paris next!
